We have been in touch with various regional partners, including the UNEP Asia-Pacific Office in Bangkok, to identify opportunities, advocacy moments, and events to facilitate youth engagement from Asia-Pacific youth and activate the networks!
Regional engagement Opportunities: We will be sharing the overview of those and invite different groups to contribute to regional activities.
· Update on Regional Youth Environmental Assembly & setting up a planning team: We have more updates on AP-YEA planning; see the updated concept note. It is expected to take place in October 2021, in the lead-up to the Asia Pacific Ministerial Dialogue on Environment and Regional Coordination Meeting of MGS
· Finalization of Asia Pacific Youth Voices for Stokcholm+50: give inputs to the paper based on the outcome of the youth event that took place on 30 April 2021.
· Networking and strengthening the regional engagement: update on strengthening sub-regional networks, and coordination
