Association Des 3 Hérissons submitted application to join the UNEP Youth and Education Alliance. We look forward to collaboration and communication with other organisations, institutions and networks on nature and environment education.
Below a quick introduction of the Youth and Education Alliance (YEA!):
The purpose of the Youth and Education Alliance (YEA!) is to work with both Universities and partners in youth movements such as the Scouts and Guides, to inspire action and leadership on environment and sustainability into the lives of young people. The Alliance was launched in 2019 and replaced the Global University Partnership for Education and Sustainability (GUPES).
Currently, more than 850 Universities are part of the Alliance which is working with partners in Higher Education to support green campuses and civics, connect the cogs to create more green jobs and support them as partners in delivering an advocacy agenda.Tongji University is the current global co-chair of the Alliance with a group of high-level advisers supporting the delivery of the work.
The work also includes supporting other mass reach youth partners such as the gaming industry, Scouts, Girl Guides, Junior Achievement and University students.
